This villa is freehold, and can be owned by foreigners through an Indonesian nameholder. The contracts will be made up at an Indonesian Notary, and give you the same rights as if you owned it directly. It would be the easiest (and cheapest) if you would use the same nameholder as the current (foreign) owners use. You will be able to study the contracts during your visit of the villa. If you think you need third party legal advice, you can seek consult at your own costs. This villa has been build by a Dutch developer who has build more then 60 villas in Bali, and the same legal system has been used for most of the villas. Insurance for this villa, including natural disasters and fire will be around 800 EUR / 900 USD per year.
